On Capitalism:

"There were rising standards of living
under slavery. Slaves were better off in the 19th century than in
the 18th century. Is that an argument for
slavery? The same argument can be made for Stalinism. There
was a tremendous rise
in economic growth. Does this justify Stalinism?"

Who is Noam Chomsky?
June 4th| Nick

Professor Noam Chomsky is the most prolific writer of our time on the subjects of modern U.S. History and poltical activism. Noam also has expounded on the benefits of a libertarian-socialist system. His lectures are necessary component of any audio library and are very enlightening. A very good core of lectures can be downloaded for free on kazaa(or if your in a rut I can burn you a copy of them for the cost of a cd) but if you really want to be extensively educated and want to patronize the companies that help educate the world on the subject then you can purchase his lectures.
